What is the Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness Plan?

The MN Legislature passed the World’s Best Workforce bill in 2013 to ensure every school district in the state is making strides to increase student performance. The name of the plan was changed by the MN Legislature in 2024 to its new name, Comprehensive Achievement and Civic Readiness.

Each district must develop a plan that addresses the following five goals:

to ensure all children are ready for school
to close all racial and economic achievement gaps between students
for all students to be career and college ready
for all students to graduate from high school
for all students to be lifelong learners
