Student and Parent Technical Help:

Reliable Internet will be essential during the Hybrid/Distance Learning Models.

  • Students or parents must inform the district if there is no reliable internet at home

  • Due to our limited resources in providing internet service (hotspots), please check with your local provider first before contacting your school (see below) 

  • Paper copies of all work can be provided for students that cannot access learning materials digitally


Broadband Initiative 

The Technology department now has a position called Digital Navigator. 

The Digital Navigator will connect with families needing broadband options and follow up with them to make sure their needs are being met. This position will also consult with staff if students are struggling with connecting that may not be self-identifying they have these issues. We will be using a variety of options for connectivity 

  • Connections with Local Providers 

  • Identified outdoor hotspot locations 

  • Other options as they are available/viable

Things you should consider before running your speed test: Be sure to close all other windows and applications. Internet speed changes throughout the day. Test your speed multiple times for clear results. Run the speed test in the same room and in clear sight of your router for the most accurate result. Running multiple devices or using streaming services while speed testing will impact your results.
