Copper Street Brass Quintet

The Copper Street Brass brings Classical, Jazz, and Rock Music to Braham.

Minneapolis-based Copper Street Brass Quintet (CSBQ) is combining traditional classical music with the excitement of jazz, pop, and rock music for a concert at Braham Area High School in C100.  The concert, called “Evolution in Concert”, features the quintet performing a wide variety of music through the virtuosity of the brass quintet.

Perfect for audiences of all ages, “Evolution of Concert” has been a hit in communities across the country.  The concert features music from Mozart to Dave Brubeck to Billy Joel, and has wowed audiences with its innovative blend of musical styles and dazzling fusion of electronic effects with breathtaking brass.  The quintet prides itself on shattering the divide between listener and performer with their lively banter and audience interaction, bringing people to their feet from Montana to Massachusetts.

TICKETS:  $5
OTHER:  CSBQ CDs “Evolution of the Brass Quintet” and “Christmas on Copper Street” will be available for purchase at the concert.

This concert is funded through a grant by the East Central Minnesota Arts Council through the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage fund as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.

The Copper Street Brass Quintet is spending four days in the Braham Public Schools, performing for the music students and preparing for a joint concert with the High School Band on Thursday, May 3rd at 7:30 p.m.

  • Jump Rope for Heart 2012

    On March 30th students in Mrs. Tomczak’s and Miss Pearson’s

    3rd & 4th grade physical education classes participated in the Jump Rope for Heart for the American Heart Association.  Since 2007 Braham students have raised over $16,000.00 for the American Heart Association.  This years pledges are not all in but so far we have raised $2,112.16.  Thanks to everyone for your continued support in this effort to raise money for the American Heart Association!!
